Lucille M. Weatherhead, 99, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND.
Lucille was born on August 12, 1907, in Anamoose, ND, to Charles and Martha (Meyer) Frankhauser. She was one of ten children. Lucille was united in marriage to Samuel G. Weatherhead on April 22, 1935, and they raised two children.
Lucille worked at St. Joseph's Catholic School in the lunch program and also worked for many years and retired from St. Ansgar's Hospital in Moorhead, MN. Lucille was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Christian Mothers Society.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel; brothers, Arthur, Roy, Donald and Fritz; sister, Violet; and a grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Samuel (Lorraine) Weatherhead and Joan (Dave) Vollrath; one brother, Joe Frankhauser; two sisters, Ethel Ortman and Jenny Palm; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucille's fondest memories were the caring of not only of her family, but for the many foster children she also cared for. She dearly loved caring for the young children while employed at St. Ansgar's Hospital Pediatrics Dept. Her love for the young one
Visitation: Thursday from 5 - 8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral Mass: Friday, June 8, 2007, at 1 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead
