Lucille V. Trogstad, 91, of Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Lucille V. Duus was born September 7, 1922, the daughter of Christian and Hulda (Peterson) Duus, in Warba, MN, where she was raised. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Brown in Warba, where they lived until the early 1940s when they moved to Moorhead. Over the years, Lucille was a cook at various restaurants.
In 1967, she was united in marriage to Norman Trogstad and they made their home in Moorhead. Norman passed away in the mid 1980s and Lucille continued to make her home in Moorhead. In March of 2008, she moved to the Golden Living Center.
Lucille loved working in her flower garden, crocheting and knitting. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed talking to people about the Bible.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Eleanor) Brown, Fargo, ND; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; daughter, Judie Brown; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; three sisters, and two brothers.
