Lyle Kjesbo

Lyle E. Kjesbo passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the age of 72 years, at his home in Shakopee, MN. Lyle will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his fun loving spirit, sense of humor, and his faith in the Lord Jesus.

Lyle Emmons Kjesbo was born on February 22, 1945 to Talmer and Bernice Kjesbo in Fargo, ND. He graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School in 1962. He later moved to St. Cloud, MN, and in 1965 opened a Mexican food restaurant, Taco Villa. Taco Villa operated successfully in many locations for over 46 years and closed on Christmas Eve 2011. Lyle was an entrepreneur and had many other business ventures throughout his life.

Lyle enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of the Wapicada Golf Club.

He is survived by his son, Matthew (Anna) Kjesbo and grandchildren, Kylie, Brynn, and Grayden; by his daughter, Dana (Mark) Jachelski and grandchildren, Michael and Mark; and by his brother, Tom (Janice) Kjesbo.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Talmer and Bernice Kjesbo; brothers, Ronald (Jan) Kjesbo and Kenneth Kjesbo and son, David Sholl.

A Visitation for Lyle will be one hour prior to his funeral service.

His Funeral Service will be Friday, November 10, 2017, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
