Maggie Bossart, 91, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, Minnesota, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at Eventide.
Maggie Bossart was born May 20, 1914, in Danzig, ND, to Jakob and Marie (Neuhardt) Klein. She was raised in the Ashley, ND, area where she received her education.
Maggie was married to Fred Martin Bossart, in April of 1938, in Fargo, ND, where they made their home. Fred died on July 6, 1988. She entered Eventide Lutheran Home in April of 1994.
Maggie was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Moorhead. She was a very artistic person and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts. Maggie was a very caring and compassionate person. She served her family in a very giving and selfless manner.
Maggie is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Rodney) Wambolt, Moorhead; her son, Douglas (Rowene) Bossart, Leawood, KS; three grandchildren, Tracy (John) Dignam, Todd Bossart, and Jay Wambolt; and one brother, Eddie (Viola) Klein, West Fargo, ND.
In addition to her parents and husband, Maggie was preceded in death by three brothers, Jake, John, and Gotlieb; and three sisters, Mary, Martha, and Emma.
Visitation: one hour before the funeral.
Funeral: Tuesday, December 27, 2005; 2 PM in Bottolfson Chapel, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
