Marcella L. Leach, age 74, Dilworth, MN, died Saturday, August 7, 2010, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Marcella Lorraine Kuehl, the daughter of Hans and Mildred (Buth) Kuehl, was born June 28, 1936, in Moorhead, MN, where she grew up and received her education. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1954. Following high school she was employed by Woolworth's in Moorhead as a stationery clerk
On December 16, 1960, she was united in marriage to Duane L. Leach in Moorhead and they made their home in Dilworth. While raising her children she worked with her husband harvesting potatoes. She later worked at Earl's King Koin Laundromat, Dilworth, and then began work at Dilworth Glyndon Felton School about 1982. She started in the lunch room and moved up to night supervisor/custodian. She retired in 2008.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Duane, Dilworth; a daughter, Sharleen Leach, Dilworth; a son, Gene (Gerri) Leach, Sabin, MN; two sisters, Geneva Plummer, Moorhead, and Luella Halbjorhus, Westminster, CA; and a brother, Gerald Kuehl, Fargo.
