Margaret A. Breneman

Margaret A. Breneman, 86, Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, January 14, 2018, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead.

Margaret Ann Waxweiler was born June 10, 1931, in St. Paul, MN, to George and Mathilda Waxweiler. She grew up in St. Michael, MN, and graduated from high school in Little Falls, MN.

On June 28, 1952, Margaret married Jack Breneman in St. Paul. They lived in St. Paul, Roseville, and Northfield, all MN, prior to making their home in Moorhead in 1968. Margaret worked with her husband in their food broker business until they retired in 1990.
Margaret was family centered, and invested her time and energy in caring for her family. She was also faith centered, and was active in many aspects for her church. She and Jack enjoyed traveling and spending time on their boat on Leech Lake. In 2016, she became a resident of Eventide on Eighth.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Jack, Moorhead; her son, Chuck (Vicki) Breneman, Moorhead; four daughters, Mary Breneman-Turner, Moorhead, Debbie Campouris, Scottsdale, AZ, Joan (Chris) Lange, Palm Desert, CA, and Carol (Chris) Seiple, Westport, CT; a sister, Mary Hunter, SaukeCentre, MN; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, and a brother, Joe.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for the staff at Eventide on Eighth, for the wonderful care given to Margaret.

Visitation for Margaret will be Thursday, from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Her funeral mass will be Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at 11 AM, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
