Marilyn Joann Lehr, the daughter of Henry and Nina Lehr, was born in Fargo, ND, on December 10, 1934. She grew up and received her education in Fargo, where she graduated from Fargo Central High School.
As a young lady, Marilyn was married to Albert Breyer in Fargo on September 11, 1954. They lived here and Marilyn worked for NW Bell, first as a telephone operator and then as a supervisor and manager in the operational division.
The family moved to Iowa, where Marilyn worked for US West, until she retired. In retirement, the couple returned to Fargo to live, and spent much time at their lake home near Rochert, MN.
Albert died in 2004. Marilyn continued to live at the lake home, and in Fargo. She was currently a resident of Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN.
Marilyn died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, in Golden Living Center, at the age of 82. She is survived by a son, Dan (Lisa) Breyer, Fargo; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Debbie Reese; a son, Doug; a brother, Jim; and a sister, Ruth Ann.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at 10 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
