Marilyn Schur

Marilyn J. Schur, 77, Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, in Pioneer House in Fargo, ND.

Marilyn Jane Aask, daughter of Raymond and Anna (Greenwood) Aask, was born in Moorhead on April 20, 1937. She grew up in Moorhead where she attended school. She graduated from Shanley High School, Fargo, in 1956.

Marilyn married Donald Schur on November 22, 1958, in Moorhead, where they made their home. Marilyn worked as a long distance telephone operator for Northwestern Bell, in Fargo.

Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a "#1 Fan" of Davies High School soccer in Fargo. She was an active volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she served as funeral lunch coordinator for many years. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her home and yard, and was a friendly neighbor to all who lived near her.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Don, Moorhead; daughters, Stephanie Linnerooth, Fargo, and Kimberly (Stephen) Todhunter, Golden Valley, MN; a sister, Jacquelin Schroeder, Anoka, MN; and three grandchildren, Connor Linnerooth and Jordan and Samantha Todhunter.

On Monday, December 22, 2014, the visitation for Marilyn will be held in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, from 12 noon until 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM, also in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
