Marjorie H. Halleen, 77, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005, in MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo.
Marjorie Helen Halleen was born April 7, 1928, in Fargo, to Hector and Mabel (Anderson) Hansen. She was raised in Fargo and attended Fargo Central High School. Marjorie graduated from North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Warren J. Halleen, in Minneapolis, on August 23, 1947. They lived in a number of communities in northwestern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota, as well as in the state of Washington.
They moved to Fargo in 1957 where Marjorie worked for over thirty years for Northwestern Bell Telephone. Warren died Friday, December 17, 2004, and Marjorie continued to make her home in Fargo.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Jonathan (Janet) Halleen, Savage, MN; one granddaughter, Emily; two brothers, Douglas (Bonnie) Hansen, and Wesley (Edith) Hansen, both Fargo; and three sisters, Mary Lou Cote, Fargo, LaVon (Douglas) Tongate, Olympia, WA, and Judith McCarty, Las Vegas, NV.
In addition to her husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and James; and a sister, Virginia.

Funeral: Friday, August 19, 2005; 2 PM in First Assembly of God, Fargo, ND.
Burial: Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
