Marjorie "Marge" Isaman
April 17, 1925 — March 19, 2005
Marjorie "Marge" Elinor Isaman of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home with her family after a short battle with cancer on March 19, 2005. She was 79 years old.
Marge was born to Amelia and Delos Miller at home in Dilworth, Minnesota, on April 17, 1925. She graduated from Dilworth High School in the class of 1944.
Marge married Donald Isaman, also of Dilworth, on July 5, 1947. They lived their lives within a 60-mile radius of Fargo-Moorhead while raising four children.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Deloris.
Marge worked at the family grocery store and Cully's during her family's years in Dilworth and later at the Pelican Rapids Good Samaritan Center following her husband's death. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. In later years, she traveled to California, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Nevada, and Washington to visit friends and family.
Marge is survived by two sons, Bob and Trisha Isaman of University Place, Washington, and Richard and Susan Isaman of Pelican Rapids; two daughters, Mary Marshall of Reno, Nevada, and Donna and Dennis Hanson of Pelican Rapids. Marge had fourteen grandchi
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 2 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, Minnesota.
