Marjorie C. Vujnovich, died in her home in rural Moorhead, MN, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at the age of 82.
Marjorie Corine Weber, daughter of Sylvester and Minnie Ruth Weber, was born near Gettysburg, SD, on April 10, 1934. She grew up and received her education in South Dakota.
Marjorie married Morris Kayser, and they had a daughter, Deb. She married Clarence Currier, and they had four children, Charles, Rita, Betty and Todd. In 1980, Marjorie married the love of her life, Joe Vujnovich in Nashville, TN. They lived in Tennessee until Joe died in October of 1999.
Following his death, Marjorie lived the rest of her life with her children in Fargo, Larimore, and rural Moorhead.
Marjorie had worked as a dietician at a hospital in Wisconsin and in the school cafeteria in Hendersonville, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved gardening, playing cards, watching the wildlife at the farm and hummingbirds. She loved playing with all her great-grandchildren, who brightened her day.
She is survived by three daughters, Deb (Peter) Livdahl, Rita Currier and Betty (Gary) Carlson; a son, Charles Currier; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three half-siblings, LeVora Palmer, Bernadatte Klaus, and Marshall Weber.
In addition to her husband Joe, she was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Ruth; a stepmother, Mabel; a son, Todd, who died in 1995; three brothers, Elroy, Marvin and Milton; and two sisters, Donna and Norma Jean.
Visitation for Marjorie will be from 1 PM to 3 PM, followed by her funeral service at 3 PM, Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
