Mark S. Amundson, 61, died in his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Friday, January 30, 2009.
Mark, the son of William "Bill" and Shirley (Opheim) Amundson, was born July 11, 1947 in Fargo, ND. He graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1965 and attended Moorhead State University before joining the US Army in 1966. He was a Vietnam veteran.
Mark moved to Albuquerque where he married Lucia Perkins. They had two children, Justin and Tara. The entire family recently celebrated Tara's marriage to Jacob Guerrero on December 27, 2008, in Albuquerque. How blessed we are to have those memories to carry with us.
