Mark Steven McCormick, 58, of Wolf Lake, MN, formerly of Hutchinson, MN, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Innovis Health, Fargo, ND.
Mark was born July 22, 1950, to James McCormick and Buena (Baysinger) McCormick-Plath at the Hutchinson Hospital. He attended Hutchinson High School and was drafted into the Army in November of 1970. He was honorably discharged in December of 1971.
Mark enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with friends, family and for charity events. He was an avid hunter. He loved to hunt goose, grouse, pheasant, and deer. He also enjoyed attending men's Bible study at Faith Baptist Church, Park Rapids, MN.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Jesse McCormick Jaeger, of Texas; brothers, Gary McCormick, of California, and Howie (Sandy) McCormick, of Glencoe, MN; sisters, Mandi (Larry) Pederson, of Dassel, MN, and Joanne (Russ) Karschnik, of Mt. Lake, MN; and many nieces, nephews, step-siblings and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 2 PM in the Oak Heights Covenant Church, Hutchinson, MN, with inurnment at St. Anastasia Catholic Cemetery.
