Marvin D. Olson

Marvin D. Olson, 65, of Fargo, ND, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Bethany on University, Fargo, ND. 

Marvin David Olson was born September 18, 1959, the son of Herbert and Dolores (Mohr) Olson in Perham, MN. He was raised in Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1978. After high school Marvin continued his education by attending Moorhead State University.

Marvin established his home in Fargo where he began his career as a delivery driver for Domino’s. He then went to work for RGIS, where he spent 35 years before retiring.

Marvin enjoyed golfing, cooking and playing Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering. An avid reader, he found immense enjoyment reading Jack Ryan and Tom Clancey books.

He is survived by his sisters, Marvine Olson, Fargo, ND, and Marilyn (Doug) Mohr, Crestwood, KY; brothers, Donald (Barb) Olson, West Fargo, ND, Raymond (Kelly) Olson, Akron, OH, and Michael (Sonya) Olson, Coon Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in by his parents.

A Gathering for Family and Friends for Marvin will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.
