Mary Bernice Enervold was born July 5, 1922, in Gwinner, ND, to Bernie and Mary (Olson) Enervold.
Mary graduated from Stirum (ND) High School in 1940, and then attended Fargo (ND) Business College. She was united in marriage to Wesley Burnside on February 12, 1944, at Forman, ND, and they made their home in Moorhead, MN.
They moved to Kenmare, ND, in 1953, and Wes died June 8, 2000. Mary returned to Moorhead in 2001. Mary died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at Trinity Medical Center, Minot, ND, at eighty-eight years of age.
Mary is survived by her son, Steve (Joan) Burnside, Minot; two daughters, Sandra Folkert, Alexandria, MN, and Debra (Mark) Zwicker, Mountain Home, AR; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Jan) Enervold, Moorhead; and sisters, Inez Kronbeck, Hawley, MN, Joyce Russell, Moorhead, and Eunice (Calvin) Peterson, Dilworth, MN.
In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Bert; a sister, Berneth; and three brothers-in-law.
Visitation for Mary will be Sunday, January 2, 2011, from 1 PM - 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her funeral will be Sunday at 2 PM, in the Korsmo Chapel.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
