Mary Lee Warnock

Mary Lee Warnock, 94, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on April 4, 2023, at Bethany on 42^nd, Fargo, ND.

Mary Lee was born on May 13, 1928, to Jean and Harry Warnock. She grew up in Jamestown, ND, and moved to Moorhead in the early 1950s. She worked at General Motors and later opened The Clip Joint, where she groomed thousands of dogs for roughly 40 years. Mary Lee was one of the original founders of the FM Kennel Club. She spent many years raising and training champion German Shepherds and champion Siamese cats. In March of 2004, her book “Always Say Please” was published, which was a command you would hear her say to her beloved German Shepherds.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Harry; and her best friend and sister, Jeanne Kilsdonk.

A family gathering will be held for Mary Lee, at a later date.
