Matthew B. Johnston, 29, of Moorhead, MN died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006 in an industrial accident in Moorhead.
Matthew Bailey Johnston was born February 15, 1977, in San Diego, CA to Judi Bailey Brown and Kenneth Johnston. He grew up in California and Michigan, then moved with his family to Moorhead while he was in High School. Matthew graduated in the Moorhead High School class of 1995 and later attended MSU.
For several years, Matthew was employed by M.I.C. of Moorhead and had been employed by Master Construction most recently. Throughout his life, Matthew loved his family and many friends. Matthew was a gifted artist who loved to draw and sculpt articles of clay and pottery. He also enjoyed golf and photography.
His family includes his son, Parker; his parents, Judi and Greg Brown of Moorhead and Kenneth Johnston of San Diego; Grandparents, Carl & June Bailey of Moorhead; aunts and uncles, Wayne Scott of Kansas City, KS, Jackie Johnston, Jim Johnston, and Cathy Johnston, all of San Diego.
VISITATION: Saturday, September 9, 2006, from 3 - 4 PM, in Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1500 S. 6th St., Moorhead.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, September 9, 2006, at 4 PM, in Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
