Meredith A. Wangrud, 68, Fargo, ND, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, in MeritcareHospital, Fargo.
Meredith Ann Holm was born September 29, 1937 in Fargo, the daughter of William and Daisy (Lamb) Holm. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central. On May 4, 1963, she married Donald Wangrud, in Fargo, where the couple made their home. She worked at Thompson's Babywear, Fargo, from 1955 to 1964. She then went to work with her husband at Pinky's Pizza which they owned and operated till 1992. She followed Don to work once again, after running the cult favorite pizza joint, this time at Monarch Photo. She retired in 2002. She enjoyed making sure the backyard wildlife was fed and planting flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will truly be missed. We love you Mom!
Meredith is survived by her husband Don, Fargo, three sons, Mike( Anna), West Fargo, ND, Steve( Dorlayne) and Bill( Lisa) both of Fargo; one grandson, Ty; and her beloved dog, Zoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harlowe and her beloved dog Sam.
VISITATION: Tuesday, January 10, 2006 - 4 PM to 8 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN,with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, and one hour at the church before the funeral.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 2 PM, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo.
INTERMENT: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
