Myrtle M. Frisk, age 98, died Friday, December 13, 2013, in Eventide at Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo, ND.
Myrtle Marion Olson, the daughter of Hannah and Gustav Olson, was born in rural Dale, MN, on December 29, 1914. She grew up and received her education in the Dale community. As a young lady, she lived and worked in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Her faith and her family were important to Myrtle. She was a meticulous housekeeper, an excellent cook, and will forever be remembered for her baking skill. She made wonderful brown bread, date cookies, donuts, and caramel rolls.
In 2007, Malcolm and Myrtle moved to Sheyenne Crossings. Malcolm died in 2009. In addition to Malcolm, Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lilly Brinkman, Violet Showman, and Linnea Way; and a brother, Helmer Olson.
