Nancy Howe

Nancy K. Howe, 62, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, July 3, 2016, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Nancy Kay Howe was born July 16, 1953, the daughter of Robert and Lois (Vergith) Howe, in Moorhead, where she was raised and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1971. After high school she worked at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo for a few years. Nancy then attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, where she received her LPN degree.

Upon returning to Moorhead, Nancy worked as an LPN at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo. She then began working for Burger King where she worked for over 20 years. Currently, Nancy was working for Sam's Club in Moorhead as a greeter.

Nancy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Moorhead where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially working with her flowers, camping and spending time at the lake. For many years she played and participated in Summer League Softball in Moorhead. Nancy was a very caring person and was always willing to lend a helping hand when she was able.

She is survived by her siblings, Allan (Susan Zimmerman) Howe, Surprise, AZ, Barbara (Paul) Suppa, Fargo, Norman Howe, Minneapolis, MN, and Ken (Dawn) Howe, Fergus Falls, MN; brother-in-law, Steven Wagner, Mapleton, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Alice Wagner.

Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.

A Gathering of Friends for Nancy will be Friday, July 22, 2016, from 5 to 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Her Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10:30 AM in Grace United Methodist Church, Moorhead.
