Nancy Lee Tetteh

Nancy Lee Killoran was born January 8, 1958, to Thomas and Luann (Floto) Killoran, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in Bloomington, MN, and moved to Watertown, SD, with her family at twelve years of age.
Nancy graduated from Watertown High School in 1976, and from Moorhead (MN) State University in 1993. She went on to get her Master's degree in Management from the University of Mary in 2001. Nancy was also a Licensed Social Worker and worked for Migrant Health Services as the chemical dependency coordinator from 1996 to 2006. Her last employment was with US Bank as a fraud specialist. Some of her favorite hobbies were thrifting, shopping, and Pinterest.
She married Jacob Tetteh on July 26th 1991. The happy couple made their home in Moorhead.
Nancy was a kind, giving and sharing human being. Nancy's family was her top priority. She showed her love for them by the gifts she bestowed on birthdays, holidays, or just because. Ever a lady, she was always stylishly dressed without a hair out of place. Her final months at home were happy ones with lots of visits from her family and friends. Nancy loved life and humanity. She also volunteered at Hospice of the Red River Valley. She will be deeply missed by all.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Luann Killoran. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Tetteh, Moorhead; her sons, Gabriel Knecht and Steven Knecht, both of Selby, SD; two brothers, Steven Killoran, and wife Sandy, of Madison WI, and John Killoran, and wife Kris, of Watertown. She leaves behind her two grandchildren, Noah and Carter Knecht. She also leaves behind several special nieces and nephews.
Nancy Lee Tetteh, age 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at her home in Moorhead.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Lodge American Cancer Society, 2500 University Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN, 55414, or donate online.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 2 PM, at First Presbyterian Church in South Moorhead, with Pastor Paul Campbell officiating.
