Nga Jackson, 73, of Tampa, passed away December 22, 2009.
She came from Vietnam in 1975 and resided in Fargo, North Dakota with her late husband, Dr. Paul A. Jackson until 1987. She spent most of her retirement life with her grandson Luke Nguyen in Tampa after her husband passed away. She was a devoted housewife, who loved to spend hours in the kitchen preparing special ethnic dishes everyday for her family.
During the summer months, she loved to do gardening, fishing, and camping with her family. In the winter months, she was always busy doing needlepoint, crocheting and knitting projects for her children and grand kids.
She will be deeply missed by her sister, children, grand children and everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Nga Jackson is survived by her sister - Bach-Thuy Le-Thi; daughters - Lien Nguyen, Loan Le and husband Liem; son - Loc Nguyen; niece and nephew - Dr. Bach-Uyen Le-Thi with husband Mark Eberhard and Thao-Chau Le-Tran with wife Lia McCormick; grand sons - Luke Nguyen and Andrew Le; and grand daughters - Melinda and Monica Le; Sophie, Annalise, My-Linh, and My-Lan Eberhard; and Ariel, Danielle, and Olivia Le-Tran.
In honor of Mrs. Jackson's last wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Her body will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Dr. Paul A. Jackson, at the Prairie Home Cemetery in Moorhead, Minnesota in the spring of 2010.
