Nicholas F. Heisler, 72, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, June 17, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Nicholas Francis Heisler was born March 11, 1934, in Fargo. He was raised in Sabin, MN, and graduated from Moorhead State Campus High School. After graduation, Nicholas enlisted in the Army, serving for four years. Upon discharge, he returned to Sabin.
On July 9, 1966, Nicholas married Bonnie Wentz in Devils Lake, ND, and they made their home in Sabin, where Nicholas owned Heisler's Carpentry. In 2000, he retired and they moved to Moorhead.
Nicholas is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Moorhead; a son, Nick S. (Michele), Hudson, WI; his mother, Louise Heisler, Mesa, AZ; a brother, Gary (Pat) Heisler, Chandler, AZ; and a grandson, Nicholas A. Heisler.
