Nina A. Langness, age 84, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Triumph Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Nina was born to Anna and Berent Kvenlog, May 17, 1923, in Hazel, MN. She was the youngest of 9 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ned Langness in 1985, her father in 1923, her mother in 1956, her sisters, Pauline, Gesine, Aren, Inga, and Mina; and her bothers, Iver, Andrew, and Ben.
Nina loved to laugh, had a quick mind, and loved to learn. At age 80 she took computer classes and became computer savvy and sent her first email to her grandchildren. She loved her job at Moorhead State University.
She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce (Ramona) Langness and Ardeen Langness; a daughter, Arnette (John) McCrae; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Nina accepted the Lord Jesus' invitation to become His child at age 14 at the Evangelical Free Church, Thief River Falls, MN.
The family thanks Dr. Sepe, Dr. Volk, the nurses, and other professional staff at Triumph Hospital and the Critical Care Unit at MeritCare for the care they gave our mother the last 3 months of her life.
