Norma L. Jensen

Norma L. Jensen, 84, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, in Sanford Health West Campus, Fargo, ND.

Norma Lou Jensen was born May 17, 1938, in Wadena, MN, the daughter of Floyd and Emma (Olson) Jensen.  She was raised in Girard Township, rural Henning, MN, and attended school in Henning.  On July 17, 1955, she was united in marriage to Roy T. Jensen in Henning. 

Norma and Roy made their home in Henning before settling in Moorhead, MN.  In 1965, Norma began working as a home daycare provider caring for children for over 40 years.  Roy passed away on December 5, 2017.  Norma continued to make her home in Moorhead.

Norma was a long-time member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Moorhead.

She enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, putting puzzles together, crocheting and painting by numbers pictures.

Norma is survived by her children, Elaine (Steve) Clemenson, Durbin, ND, Cynthia (Steve) Mark, Dent, MN, Jeff (Jackie) Jensen, and Brian (Katie) Jensen, both of Moorhead; twelve grandchildren; eighteen -great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; and eight brothers and sisters.

A Visitation Norma will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.

Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

A Graveside Service will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Henning, MN.
