Palmer M. Sorenson, 88, Ulen, MN, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Viking Manor Nursing Home, Ulen.
Palmer Mayer Sorenson was born June 27, 1917, in Keene, ND, where he was raised and received his education. In 1942, he enlisted in the Army.
On August 13, 1945, Palmer married Kathleen Evans in Abergavenny, England. Upon his discharge in 1945, they returned to Ulen where they farmed. They then moved to Glyndon, MN, where Palmer worked for American Crystal Sugar for thirteen years until his retirement.
Palmer is survived by his wife, Kathleen; four brothers, Walter Sorenson, Clayton (Eleanor) Sorenson, and Raymond (Maryann) Sorenson, all of New Town, ND, and Clifford (Beverly) Sorenson, Fort Atkinson, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral service at the church

St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Hawley, MN
Interment: Hawley Cemetery, Hawley
