Pamela Dew, 66, of Hawley, MN, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Pamela Lee Dew was born August 25, 1946, in Mankato, MN, the daughter of Lee and Clare (Flicek) Offerdahl. They later moved to Mahnomen, MN, where she attended St. Michael's School and Mahnomen High School. After high school, she attended Moorhead State University receiving a degree in education.
Pam married Robert Dew in 1965 and they had 3 children, Robert Jay, Pat, and Andrea. She raised her children in Moorhead. Pam substitute taught in many school districts; Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton may have been her favorite. She had a voracious appetite for reading, Scrabble, and PBS. She loved talking about her heritage and family. She enjoyed attending sporting events all her life, going to Buffalo State Park, and watching her grandchildren at their events.
Pam is survived by her three children, Jay, Fargo, Pat (Trish) and their children, Austin and Allie, Bennington, NE, Andrea (Russ) Koczur and their children, Amber, Taylor, Dana, Forrest and Andy, Hitterdal, MN; brothers, Pat Offerdahl, Waubun, MN, Mike Offerdahl, Park Rapids, MN, and Barry Offerdahl, Port St Lucie, FL; sisters, Nancy Marquart, Frazee, MN, and Hali Dahlby, Topeka, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will begin at 6:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2013, in the Hitterdal Senior Center, 60 Front St. E., Hitterdal, MN.
