Patricia B. Sandeen Korsmo

Patricia Bernice Huebner, the daughter of Alfred and Mabel (Hauger) Huebner, was born March 17, 1933, in Spring Prairie Township, rural Hawley, MN, where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Glyndon (MN) High School. On October 4, 1952, she married Clayton Sandeen in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Moorhead, MN.

Patty's greatest joy was raising her three children and encouraging them to trust in Jesus Christ. Her granddaughter also brought much joy to her and Clayton's life. Patty enjoyed family genealogy, travel and church activities. She worked at various jobs including Moorhead State Bank and River Bend Industries, from which she retired in 1990. Patty was widowed in 2005.

On November 29, 2013, she married Paul E. Korsmo. They enjoyed travel to Arizona and their blended families. In 2017, they moved to Touchmark at Harwood Groves, Fargo. They shared their faith in Jesus Christ with staff and residents alike. After a short illness at Bethany on University, Fargo, Patty went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 30, 2021.

Patty is survived by her husband Paul E. Korsmo, Fargo; a son, Kurt (Tammy) Sandeen, West Fargo ND; two daughters, Kathy (Chuck) Theis, Montrose, MN, and Diane (Rich) Oakes, Frisco, TX; a granddaughter, Brianne Clemenson; great grandsons, Chase and Jack; a brother Jerry (Sharon) Huebner, Cannon Falls MN; a sister Joan Erickson, Bloomington MN; stepchildren, Paulette (Rick) Frith, Fargo, and George (Ruth) Korsmo, Moorhead; 7 step-grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

A visitation for Patty is Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 5 PM to 8 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her funeral is Thursday, October 7, at 2 PM, in Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church, east campus, Moorhead. She will be buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
