Patricia Ruth

Patricia Ann Huot, daughter of Ernest and Emma (Benoit) Huot was born March 18, 1929, in Red Lake Falls, MN, and raised in Huot, MN. She left with the angels Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND, at the age of eighty-seven. Her daughters and grandchildren were at her bedside, holding her hands. Lovingly and sadly saying goodbye.

Patricia's greatest joy was her family. Closest survivors are her daughters, Jann (Tony) St. Michel, Dilworth, MN, Michelle (David) Korfhage, Grand Forks, ND, and Cathryn Church, Fargo; grandchildren, Shannon Burton and Rachael Ruth; great-grandchildren, Brandon Ruth, Christian Ruth, and Aiden and Andrew Myers Burton; brother, Tom Huot, Red Lake Falls; and sisters, Lillian Grenier, Mae Darlene Gjerstad, and Jean Beyer, all of Red Lake Falls, and Sharon Benoit, Superior, WI.

Patricia had so many nieces and nephews as well, all of whom she loved visiting and hearing about through family letters and Christmas cards.

She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Marcus McCarty Ruth; brothers, Ernie Huot and Jack Huot; and sisters, Rita Hagl and Dolores Glass.

A gathering and service honoring Patricia will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will begin at 1 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her son, Marcus, at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
