Patrick Boyle

Patrick J. Boyle, 72, of Hawley, MN, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Patrick John Boyle, the son of Joseph and Florence (Honkomp) Boyle, was born July 8, 1944, in Graceville, MN. He was raised on a farm near Beardsley, MN, where he graduated from Beardsley High School in 1962. Over the years, Patrick pursued a variety of interests and a range of jobs. He also served in the Minnesota National Guard for four years.

He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Hawley and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moorhead.

Patrick enjoyed the outdoors especially golfing, fishing, and coaching his son's teams. He was a man of strong faith and loved to socialize and laugh.

He is survived by his children, Mark (Mariah) Boyle, Otsego, MN, and Michelle Boyle, St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Jordan, Seth, Jennifer, Connor, Lida and Keegan; and brothers, David (Marge) Boyle, San Antonio, TX, and Steve (Tom) Boyle, Minneapolis, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Melissa Boyle.

A Celebration of Patrick's Life will be Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
