Paula Redmond

Paula Z. Redmond, 54, Moorhead, MN, died in her home in Moorhead, on July 11, 2011.

Paula Zane Hendrickson, daughter of Jim and Christine (Spillane) Hendrickson, was born September 21, 1956 in Booneville, Indiana. She grew up in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Paula served her country in the US Air Force. She later married George "Ken" Higgins and lived in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and in Foley, Alabama. Paula worked as a veterinarian.

After Ken died in 2006, Paula moved to Moorhead, where she had lived since.

She is survived by a son, George "Randy" (Katrina) Higgins, Moorhead; granddaughter, Riley Higgins, Moorhead; sister, J. P. Mahaney, Daphne, Alabama; brother, Scott Hendrickson, also in Alabama; and a stepsister, Jody, in Kentucky.

A memorial service for Paula will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 1:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
