Phyllis Vander Wal, 81, West Fargo, ND, died Monday, December 16, 2013, at Elim
Rehab and Care Center, Fargo, ND.
Phyllis was born January 18, 1932, in Linton, ND, to Paul and Christine (Schmerier) Job.
Phyllis married Albert Vander Wal on Nov. 9, 1950, in Linton. They lived on the farm until 1962, when they moved into Pollock, SD. In 1970, they moved to Linton where they resided until 2009, when they moved to West Fargo. Phyllis entered Elim Rehab and Care Center in 2011.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Albert, of West Fargo; their son, Jody (Cheryl) Vander Wal, of Horace, ND; two grandchildren, Shayne Vander Wal, of Hebron, ND, and Brittney Vander Wal, of Horace; a brother, Larry Job; and two sisters, Donna Schwab and Diane Burkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Duane, Donald, and Lesley.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2013, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN.
The funeral will be Friday, December 20, 2013, at 11 AM, in Horace Lutheran Church, Horace.
Burial will be in Brink Cemetery, Horace.
