Rachel A. Campbell, 85, Fargo, ND, died Sunday, February 10, 2008, in St. Mary's Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Rachel Ann Oliver was born July 29, 1922, in Moorhead, MN, to Frank and Domenica (Perzichilli) Oliver. She was raised in Dilworth, MN, where she graduated from high school.
On May 9, 1955, Rachel married Duane Campbell in Dilworth and they made their home in Fargo. Rachel worked for many years at Sears.
Rachel and Duane enjoyed spending time at their lake cabin on Big Floyd Lake. She loved to dance, laugh and live life to the fullest. Above all, family was most important to her.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Duane; two sons, Steve (Joyce) Campbell, Detroit Lakes and Michael Campbell, Nashville, TN; three granddaughters, Ashley, Ellie, and Annie; a sister, Anna Zeuli, Anaheim, CA; two brothers, Josef (Vaughnie) Olivieri, Fargo, and Thomas (Audrey) Oliver, Dilworth; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Margaret "Maggie" Oliver; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Altobelli, and three brothers, Alphonse "Funzy", Louis and Michael.
Visitation: Wednesday from 6 -8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral Service: Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 10:30 AM, in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Dilworth.
Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
