Ralph Hennebry Sr.

Ralph Andrew Hennebry was born on February 27, 1922, in Fargo, ND, to Thomas and Anna Hennebry, the second of four sons. He was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School. Ralph enlisted in the Army and served his country faithfully during WW II. After being discharged from the Army, he returned to Fargo and worked in construction for 20 years and for the Fargo Post Office for 20 years. Ralph retired from the Post Office in 1986.
Ralph married Laura Jane Weidel on November 5, 1942, and together they had three sons, Richard (Polly) in Cheyenne, WY, Robert in West Fargo, ND, and Ralph Jr. (Pamela) in Moorhead, MN. He also has three grandchildren, Kevin Hennebry in Laramie, WY, Christopher Hennebry in Fargo, and Shannon Hennebry in Denver, CO.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers Floyd, Thomas and Chester; and his wife. He was a life long member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a common man with simple pleasures; spending time with family, fishing in Canada and hunting in North Dakota. He was a living example of how to be a husband, a father and a friend. He will be missed.
Visitation for Ralph will be Sunday, July 1, 2007, from 5 - 8 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
His funeral will be Monday, July 2, 2007, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
