Reginald Terrance Collins, 49, died Sunday April 27, 2008, at his apartment in Riverview Heights, Moorhead, MN.
Reginald was born in Huntsville, Texas, November 14, 1958. He attended grade school in Carson, California, and graduated from Long Beach, CA, Poly Tech High School in 1977. He was an avid collector of G.I Joe items and classic comic books and he enjoyed playing the accordion.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Faye and John Faust of Richards, Texas; grandmother, Rozzell Lockett, Moorhead; sister, Andrea (Wayne) Hamilton, Tyler TX; and a special spot in his life was his niece, Faith Hamiltonâ¦never held or saw her but loved her very much. Also, stepsisters, Jennifer of California, and Rebecca of Texas; stepbrother, Joseph of Texas; Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Kathy of Texas, Uncle Ed Collins of Texas; and special friends, Judy Shornberg, Deanna, Bridget, and others that we will never know.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Collins Jr.; grandparents, Cassie Bookman, James Collins Sr., and Pearlean Collins; great- grandparents, Hanna Knox and Marthella Mennifee; and great-uncles, James Oliver and LeRoy Bonds.
Reginald was one of God's Special Children. His favorite saying was, "NO PAIN, NO STRAIN, NOTHING TO COMPLAIN". Memorials preferred to either Lakeland Mental Health or to Lions Eye Bank.
Visitation will be Saturday, one hour before the funeral.
The funeral will be Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
