Rev. Donald W. Wagner

Donald Wayne Wagner was born June 5, 1934, in Carmi, IL. He married Pauline Mouser on June 9, 1951, in Henderson, KY.

Donald pastored and conducted evangelistic meetings in Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas from 1968 to 1988. The couple moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1988. Following their move to Moorhead, Donald served as interim pastor and filled in pulpit supply in churches in Detroit Lakes, Barnesville, and White Earth, MN, from 1995 to 2008. Donald also served as a Cass County Jail Chaplain from 2002 to 2009.

Rev. Wagner died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Sanford Health, Fargo, at seventy-nine years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, Moorhead; children, David (Diane) Wagner, Moorhead, Donna (Don) Coy, Humboldt, KS, Randy (Paula) Wagner, Danville, IL, and Douglas (Karla) Wagner, Moorhead; brother, Larry (Cecelia) Wagner, Mt. Vernon, IL; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Flora Wagner; brother, Kenneth Ray Wagner; and two grandsons, Dayne Michael Wagner and Dustin Ray Coy.

Visitation for Rev. Wagner will be Friday, March 28, 2014, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

His funeral will be Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 2:30 PM, in First Assembly, Fargo.
