Richard "Dick" Duane Anderson was born July 2, 1942, to George and Julia (Peterson) Anderson in Moorhead, MN, where he grew up and graduated from high school. After high school, Dick joined the Air Force. Upon his return to the Moorhead area he worked for WestCo and then for the Fairmont Creamery as a delivery driver.
On April 24, 1965, Dick married Lenora Gray in Downer, MN, and they made their home there. Dick worked for F-M Vending as well as various other businesses in the F-M area until his retirement in 2004. Lenora died on September 1, 1985, and Dick continued to make his home in Downer.
Dick died Saturday, October 22, 2005, in MeritCare Medical Center, Fargo, ND, at the age of 63.
Dick enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to visit with company. He was a proud grandpa and great-grandpa. Dick was also a member of the American Legion, Barnesville, MN.
Dick is survived by three sons, Brad (Jayne), Mark (MaryLou), and Kelly (Becky); a daughter, Tammy (Steve) Cusey; four grandchildren, Brandon (Connie), Ryan (Amy), Jason and Marissa; one great-grandchild, Ethan; one, stepgrandchild, Samantha; and two step-greatgrandchildren, Aaron and April.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service
Funeral Service: 10 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2005, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN
Interment: Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead
