Richard "Dick" Boe, age 62, of Beulah, ND, died Saturday, February, 25, 2012 in Beulah.
Richard Thomas Boe was born November 14, 1949 in Bismarck, ND, to Edsel and Martha Boe. He was raised in Langdon, ND, where he participated in boy scouts, basketball, football, and track. He graduated from high school there in 1968. Richard attended college at Moorhead (MN) State University and later earned a master's degree in management from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. He was employed at Dakota Gasification Plant in Beulah.
Richard was an award winning amateur photographer. He loved to go for drives in western North Dakota, where he studied the landscape and made sure that the angle and lighting were just perfect to capture his shot. Many people have enjoyed and appreciated his beautiful photos.
Richard will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to see the best in everyone, and his kind and gentle nature. He was so generous to all who knew him. Many thanks to his AA family of friends across the state.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Boe. He will be dearly missed by all who shared his life, including his father, Edsel Boe, Fargo; siblings, Merry (Gene) Manson, Fargo, Steven (Debra) Boe, Burnsville, MN, Phillip (Laura) Boe, St. Paul, MN, and Douglas (Michelle) Boe, St Joseph, MO; his former wife, Connie Boe, Beulah; foster daughters, Yuki Rivers, Grafton, ND, and Valerie Aneo, Bismarck; and many nieces, nephews, uncle, aunt, and cousins.
