Rickie Fae Leach, 61, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Rickie was born in Moorhead, MN, on May 30, 1948. He lived on the family farm until he was thirty-three years old. He attended Glyndon, MN, Public School Special Education.
Rickie lived at CCRI Hawley group home for about twenty years, then moved to Moorhead to live in a corporate foster care apartment with three roommates. He worked for many years at Target and the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo through Connections of Moorhead.
Rickie loved everything Mickey Mouse, listening to his radio, dancing, being silly with family and friends, watching airplanes, and riding bike.
Rickie is survived by seven brothers, Duane (Marcella), Dilworth, MN, Don (Monna Lou), Glyndon, Irvin (Delores), Glyndon, Denis (Irene), Moorhead, Larroll (Carol), Butte, MT, Darwin (Marlys), Dilworth, Curt (Kris), Detroit Lakes, MN; six sisters, Elthea Lass, Fargo, Mavis (Dick) Wang, Glyndon, Diane Pickett, Dilworth, Ardelle (Harold) Brandt, Moorhead, Doreen (Ron) Wang, Glyndon, and his twin sister, Bonnie Leach, Fargo; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Leach, Glyndon; and many nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Christie Leach; a brother, Verne Leach; brothers-in-law, Carl Lass and Gene Pickett; a nephew, Timothy Leach; and a great-nephew, Jesse Leach.
The family would like to thank CCRI staff for many years of loving care.
Visitation: Wednesday from 12 - 1 in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in 1 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
