Robert J. Cianci, 55, Wahpeton, ND, died Thursday, August 31, 2006, in his home.
Robert Joseph Cianci was born June 25, 1951, in Chicago, IL. He grew up in Blue Island, IL, where he also graduated from high school. He then went on to attend college and he worked as a printer for the World Bible League for many years.
On September 9, 1978, Robert married Joanne Krassel in Homewood, IL. They made their home in Grant Park, IL, and he worked as a printer in South Holland, IL.
Robert then went into the ministry where he served churches in Prairie du Chien, WI, Iron Mountain, MI, Coal Springs, SD, and most recently the New Life Christian Center (formerly the Wahpeton Church of God), in Wahpeton. Richard retired from the ministry in March of 2002.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joanne, Wahpeton; two sons, Robert and Tom, both of Fargo; his mother, Lillian Cianci, Chicago; and a sister, Linda (Andrew) Pollizzi, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church
Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 6, 2006, at 11 AM, at Church of God - Family Worship Center, Fargo, ND.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
