Robert J. Sanger was born March 15, 1914, in Hazen, ND. Robert was one of seven sons and four daughters born to Otto and Alice (Clark) Sanger.
Bob received his early education in Hazen and then farmed with his family in that area. In 1925, the family moved to the Crookston, MN, area where they continued farming. Two years later, they moved to the Moorhead, MN, area where they continued farming. They also farmed in the Glyndon, MN, area.
Bob lived for a time at Eventide the Fairmont, Moorhead, and then entered Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, in 1995. Bob died suddenly on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND, at ninety-four years of age.
Bob is survived by his two sisters, Marjorie Davis of Fargo, and Edna Annis of Hawley, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Milton, Earl, Paul, Bernard, William and Edgar; and his sisters, Lydia and Gertrude.
The funeral for Robert will be Monday, July 7, 2008, at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Visitation will be at the chapel, one hour before the funeral.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Glyndon.
