Robert L. Peterson

Robert Lawrence Peterson was born July 16, 1926, in St. Cloud, MN, to Albert and Annie (Hill) Peterson. When Robert was young, the family moved to Fargo, ND, where he received his education.
Robert served in the US Army from December of 1945 to May of 1947. Following his discharge, he returned to Fargo and started his own business, Peterson Hauling. He retired in 1989 and continued to live in Fargo.
Robert died Sunday, August 15, 2010, in Villa Maria, Fargo, at eighty-four years of age.
Robert is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Annie Peterson; and siblings, Irvin Peterson, Gordon Peterson and Lloyd Peterson, all Fargo, Irene Buland and Dorothy McClary, both Moorhead, MN, Dorene Jacobson, Redmond, WA, and Marion Covella, Jersey City, NJ.
Visitation for Robert will be Friday, August 20, 2010, from 12 noon to 2 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
His funeral will be Friday, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
