Roger J. Lynch, 65, of Moorhead, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in his home.
Roger was born on August 17, 1952, to Ray and Pauline (Weiler) Lynch, in Fargo, ND. Roger moved around before eventually making Moorhead his home. In 1972, he was married briefly to Roxanne Smith, of Fargo.
Roger enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years, fishing, motorcycles, traveling and even a little boxing. He was a collector of baseball cards and loved everything about it. His love of sports included the Minnesota Vikings, and of course, the Minnesota Twins. He attended many sports shows, games and even went to the Minnesota Twins spring training in Florida when he could.
His main occupation was with Rusco Window Company in Fargo.
Roger is survived by his sister, Sharon (Gene) Mosbek, Finlayson, MN; nephews, Tim (Brooke) Mosbek, Tom (Shelley) Mosbek, Derek Cherrington, and Warren Cherrington; niece, Rhiannon (Dan) Janke; great-nephews and nieces, Brennon, Nolan, Jaden, Emmett, Marah, Cohen, Summer, Xander, and Brianna; and brother-in-law, Steve Miller, Askov, MN.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Pauline; stepfather, Alton Gullingsrud; and sister, Linda Cherrington/Miller.

A Gathering of Friends will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5 PM to 7PM, with a sharing of memories at 7PM.
