Ronald Leon Olson was born December 7, 1953, in Fargo, ND, to Olaf and Mary (Johnson) Olson. He grew up in Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1972.
After school, Ron worked for Americana Nursing Home and St. Ansgar Hospital, both in Moorhead. He then worked for many years for Aggregate Industries, Moorhead.
Ron loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, or just hanging out with the guys and his dog, Snookers.
Ron died Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Innovis Health, Fargo, at the age of 50.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Olson, Moorhead; two sisters, Yvonne (Raynald) Toutant, Fargo, and Loretta (Richard) LeSage, Ponsford, MN; a brother, Robert (Sandy) Olson, Moorhead; his significant other of nine years, Kathy Seigler, Moorhead; a very special friend who was like a son, Todd Fox, Minneapolis, MN; eight nieces, one nephew, four grandnieces and four grandnephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Olaf, and a brother, Donald.
Visitation: Wednesday, 5 - 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM
