Ruby D. Crimp, Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, at the age of 89.
Ruby Doris Peterson, the daughter of Anton and Emma (Erickson) Peterson, was born in Thief River Falls, MN, on March 26, 1924. She grew up and received her education in Thief River Falls. As a young lady, Ruby attended nursing school in Minneapolis, MN, and became an LPN.
In 1955, Ruby married Hubert Crimp. The couple lived in Nevada, California, and in Oregon, where Hubert died a number of years ago.
A few years ago, Ruby moved to Moorhead. In 2012, she became a resident of Eventide on Eighth.
Ruby is survived by three sisters, Evelyn Strandquist, Moorhead, Eunice (Bob) Beals, Eagle Point, Oregon, and Dorothy Grill, Princeton, MN; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private family service for Ruby will be held at a later date.
