Ruby L. Fix

Ruby L. Fix, 84, Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, August 15, 2004, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.
Ruby Larane Becker was born July 9, 1920, in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada, to Francis and Nellie (Campbell) Becker. At two years of age, the family moved to Detroit, MI, where Ruby was raised and educated.
Ruby was united in marriage to Paul M. Fix, on June 27, 1942, in Ohio, and they made their home in Detroit. They moved to Moorhead in 1948 and to Dilworth, MN, in 1955. Ruby worked as a cook at Willy's Café.
Paul died July 4, 1987, and Ruby returned to Moorhead the following year where she worked as a cook for Churches United For The Homeless.
Ruby is survived by one brother, Ernest Becker, Westbranch, MI; and one sister, Helen Jacobs, Belleville, MI.
