Ruth I. Urang, age 82, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, January 21, 2006, at Bethany Homes in Fargo.
Ruth Irene Reis was born February 19, 1923, in Fargo, where she grew up and received her education. She graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School in 1940, and attended Interstate Business College.
As a young lady, Ruth worked at Interstate Business College, for the War Department, during WW II, and from 1944 to 1965 for Northwestern Bell Telephone in Fargo.
On January 30, 1965, she married Harry Urang. They farmed near Litchville, ND until 1987. After retiring they made their home in Fargo, and Harry died on September 23, 1992.
Following his death, Ruth continued to live in Fargo. In January of 2006, she became a resident of Bethany Homes.
There are no immediate survivors.
