Scott A. Maus

Scott Allen Maus, age 60, died Monday, April 30, 2018, in Bethany on University, Fargo, ND, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Scott was born January 28, 1958, in Huntington Park, CA, the son of James and Vernette (Christianson) Maus. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High in 1976.
Scott worked at various jobs in Fargo, one being at a book store which he enjoyed, as he had a great love for books.
In 2000, Scott married Karen Chase and spent the next ten years in Clearwater, FL. Scott moved back to Fargo in 2010 and lived in Park View Terrace in Moorhead, MN, until his health began to fail. He moved to Twin Valley (MN) Living Center and two months ago moved to Bethany on University.
The family would like to thank all of Scott's caregivers and Hospice of the Red River Valley for their compassionate care.
Scott leaves behind his parents, Jim and Vernette; brother, Steve, Fargo; sister, Starr (Darla), Phoenix, AZ; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by all.
Scott's memorial service will be Monday, May 7, 2018, at 2PM, with a visitation starting at 1PM, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 613 South 16th Street, Fargo.
