Selma Stordahl, known as "Sally", age 82, of Makinen, MN, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006 in White Community Hospital, Aurora, MN.
Selma Hval was born August 3, 1924 at Rural Gardner, ND, where she grew up and received her education. On May 29, 1953, she was united in marriage to Leland Stordahl. After their marriage they lived in the Hendrum, MN area. In 1957, the family moved to the Minnesota iron range, where they had lived since.
Selma is survived by her husband, Leland R., Makinen; a daughter, Karen M. (Duane) McDonald, Harrisville, WV; three sons, Jon R. (Barb) Stordahl, Aurora, Daniel T. (Linda) Stordahl, Arcadia, FL, and Roger L. (Norma) Stordahl, Esko, MN; a sister, Clara Westerberg, Moorhead, MN; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral, at the church.
Funeral service: Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at 2 PM, in Nora Lutheran Church, Gardner, ND.
Burial: Nora Lutheran Cemetery, Gardner.
