Shane Rodney Rudrud was born September 26, 1962, in Moorhead, MN, where he was raised and graduated from high school. After graduation, Shane worked for Sannes Burner Service in Moorhead and then Paschke Heating.
Shane moved to Erhardt, MN, where he opened a fireplace and stonework business called, Cornerstone Fireplace. He then moved to Arkansas where he worked for various businesses.
Shane enjoyed race car driving, hunting and camping. He was very mechanically inclined and liked to work on automobiles. Shane enjoyed life and having fun. He strived to be the best in all that he did.
Shane died unexpectedly on Monday, September 19, 2011, in Rogers, AK, at the age of forty-eight.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; two sons, Scott (fiancé, Christine) Rudrud, and Joseph Rudrud; a step-son, Michael Larson; his parents, Gay and Lorna Rudrud; a sister, Yvonne Rudrud; and three nephews, Trevor (fiancé, Nikki), Nick, and Nathan.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doc and Eva Rudrud and Gordie and Lorraine Sannes; and an infant son, Rodney Rudrud.
